I don’t do PDF remediation anymore.

Included in the Word or PowerPoint training are tips and techniques for creating accessible Outlook e-mail and Outlook templates, as well as accessible Excel workbooks.

On-site training is only available in Canada. Training is conducted using Zoom for clients outside of Canada.

A sample agenda is available on request. Any agenda can be customized for the needs of you or your organization.

Coaching

I provide coaching on accessible, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, tagged PDF and accessible PDF forms.

There are two types of coaching.

1-hour coaching works if you have a document you want to discuss or find a way to make more accessible.

A 3-month retainer gives you access when you need it for any of the types of documents mentioned above.
Please contact me about the fees for each type of coaching.

Training Background

Karen has been providing customized onsite and online training in the area of accessible Word, PowerPoint and PDF documents for colleges, universities and corporations since 1998.

Karen has been a Microsoft MVP for Word (Most Valued Professional) since 2009 and a Microsoft Accessibility MVP since the sub-category was created in 2014.

She provides accompanying handouts with step by step instructions for participants to take away once the training has ended and offers three months of e-mail support at the end of the training to answer questions that might arise.

In 2016 Karen added a training course on creating accessible PDF forms to the offerings available to those who want or need to create more accessible PDF forms. The training includes a module on form design best practices.
